The Veterans Care Trust Fund invites you to an evening of purpose, connection, and community impact. This Gala is more than an event — it is a promise that no veteran, no survivor, and no family will ever walk alone.
Why We Gather — The Heart Behind the Gala
Across Wisconsin, the cost of living has outpaced the income of the very people who served our nation. When rent, utilities, transportation, and basic necessities exceed what a veteran can afford, families fall into crisis.
In 2025, your support made the following possible:
- 27 veterans received full Mental Health Assessments
- 49 additional veterans were supported through case management
- The ripple effect reached 109 family members across rural communities
These numbers represent real people — parents, spouses, children, survivors — whose stability depended on someone showing up at the right moment.
And here’s the truth:
Much of our work is invisible on purpose.
We protect confidentiality.
We honor dignity.
We don’t post “feel‑good” photos of people in crisis.
We don’t turn someone’s hardest moment into content.
We have an incredible eagle that symbolizes freedom —
but we don’t have staged photos of the families we stabilize,
the veterans we walk beside,
or the survivors we support.
What we do have is a community that cares.
And right now, we need that community more than ever.
VCTF is donor funded, volunteer driven, and deeply rooted in rural Wisconsin.
